What to do about a possum or skunk under your house? - So... you think you have a possum or skunk living under your home and you are not sure what to do! Don't panic, ladies and gentleman, for help is at hand. There are a few easy steps to resolve this pesky problem, and as long as you follow these directions, you will be possum or skunk-free in next to no time at all! Get yourself some heavy duty, durable material. Why? To block up the holes that the possum or skunk is using to gain access to your home, of course! You could use a number of materials, but you must make sure that the possum or skunk cannot claw or nibble through it. Try looking at vinyl, stucco, mesh wiring, or wood.

1. Look around your home for holes. It could be something as large as a gaping hole in the side of your home, or something as small as a drain, air conditioning unit, or even an open window with a broken screen door.

2.Try to work out which of the holes your possum or skunk is using, and if they are using more than one, the one that they are using the most. This will take a little investigative work, but it will be worth it in the end, we promise you!

3. Block up all of the holes with the material that you bought, with the exception of the most used hole. Why not this hole? Well, if you do block this hole up as well, you are going to be blocking the creature underneath your home, and very soon it will die of starvation if nothing else. Then your home is going to stink and you are going to kick yourself!

4. Using the most used hole, place a trap nearby and bait it. Lay in wait until you have caught the creature.

5. Once the animal has been caught, block up the final hole and you should have put a stop to the rather annoying possum or skunk problem!
