Keeping Gophers away from the yard is important because of their high rate of reproduction , thus they may become endemic to your home if their numbers are not controlled. The use of repellents or predators can also be used to scare away Gophers. Chemical sprays occasionally applied on yards can irritate gophers and they may stay away permanently from your yard, however, the use of repellents may be very expensive and requires a careful handling.
